Convert to PDF Create text-searchable PDF files directly from IBM i spool files. Add logo graphics, apply color highlighting, password-protect with AES 128 or 256 encryption, burst large reports into individual PDFs, and dynamically name each file using job information or spool data. PDFs can be emailed, archived to IFS, or posted to your file server.
Convert to Excel Transform spool file reports into true Excel spreadsheets (XLSX or XLS) — no re-keying, no manual conversion. Control which headings to include or exclude, strip out unnecessary data, apply color highlighting, preserve or remove leading zeros, and output true negative values. Delivered as email attachments or saved directly to your server.
Email Directly from IBM i SpoolFlex emails from your IBM i system using your existing company email server — it does not use IBM’s SMTP, MSF, or SNDDST. Send single or multiple attachments to single or multiple recipients. Use individual addresses or groups from the SpoolFlex address book. Dynamically name attachments using job info, spool data, or file attributes. Works with almost all fax and email products.
Manage Spooled Files SpoolFlex’s manage spooled files menu has the look and feel of IBM’s native WRKSPLF (Work Spool File) screen, so users are immediately comfortable. On IBM i OS 6.1 and later, you can convert and email directly from the IBM WRKSPLF and WRKOUTQ screens.
