Just a little background to let you know what you guys saved us: This report is 190 characters per line, so it is merged with ACOM form to give us the font we need to fit on a page. As you already know, most of our printers can’t handle ACOM, so every year around budget time (now) we would have to find an ACOM compatible printer somewhere in the County, move the printer from its current location into Finance, find another printer to replace the one we just moved to Finance, and then switch them back after Finance is done with budget prep. All because of one little report. Now, not only do we not have to do the Printer Shuffle, but Finance get the report faster and they’re saving paper (because half the time they didn’t need it printed, just viewable).
