Is our software V6.1 compliant?

We have been getting a lot of requests asking if SpoolFlex is V6.1 compliant. The answer is yes, as of v3.9.9yf released March 2008 SpoolFlex has been V6.1 compliant. We currently have customers running SpoolFlex version 3.9.9yf or later on IBM V6.1

New Product - DataFlex
We are working on a new Product (DataFlex) that will allow customers to create XLS and PDF files directly from your Database files. We are looking for some customers to work with us to make sure we incorporate everything you are looking for. If you would like to give us some feedback on features and functionality and/or would like to be involved in BETA testing this product please contact us at development@drvtech.com

Answers to Your Questions And Tips

• I am creating form using FormFlex. Is there a way to use a watermark image in a form?
  Yes, watermark image is simply a light gray image. It can be made lighter using any image editing software and then can be imported into FormFlex like any other image.
   
• Every time I open Managed Spooled Files, it defaults to SFOUTQ, can I change this?
  Yes, if you go into the setup menu, and then into user defaults you can create a user default that matches your log-in profile, and then whenever you use an option it will pull your custom values in, like an output queue for example.
   
• Can I do anything special with an email sent from SpoolFlex?
  Yes, if you use one of our API’s, like SFAEML, you can change the type to *HTML and then use any HTML coding in the body. Like colors, inline images, or any formatting you can think of, even hyper links.
