Software Spotlight: Audit Trail Module
Audit Trail is a SpoolFlex add-on module which allows you to
track the
distribution of your reports -- recording
when the report was sent, the delivery method, the sender,
and the recipient. Audit Trail tracks your documents
distributed via file creation as well as e-mail, and it enables
your failed and sent e-mail logs to track up to 1,000 entries
each.
Key Features:
Index fields on the spooled page, such as customer #,
invoice #, and statement date for easy searching.
Search for documents by distribution name, date
range, recipient, sender, document name, or index fields.
View the original document sent with a single
keystroke.
The document is launched in the appropriate PC application
(Acrobat, Excel, etc.)
automatically, viewable directly on the
user's PC.
Resend the original document to the original
recipient, or redirect it to another recipient or group.

For the first time, scientists at IBM Research (NYSE: IBM)
have demonstrated that a relatively new memory technology,
known as phase-change memory (PCM), can reliably store
multiple data bits per cell over extended periods of time.
This significant improvement advances the development of
low-cost, faster and more durable memory applications for
consumer devices, including mobile phones and cloud storage,
as well as high-performance applications, such as enterprise
data storage.

Answers to Your Questions
Q: My spooled file is over 100 pages long. I would like to
print the form as duplexed, using the same form on the back and
using the next page of the spooled file. How can I set this
up?
A:
In
FormFlex when you are editing your form's header, press <F18>
for More Options and then put a 1 by Page Setup. Type
DUPLEX ALL PAGES in the Print conditions field, type
your same form name in the 2nd Form Name field, and type
*NEXT in the Duplexing Spool Page Processing field.
Q: I have a form designed in FormFlex that looks
great, except that I need to change the font sizes – making
everything a size smaller than it is. Is there an easy way
to do this?
A: Yes. In FormFlex when you are editing your form,
press <F14> for Group Change. You can specify the
font name and size you are searching for and the font name
and size you want it replaced with. When you press <Enter>,
our software will find and replace all of those fonts for
you.
Q: Sometimes an e-mail I send through SpoolFlex to
myself does not
ever reach me. Is there any way to check if the e-mail reached my
mail server?
A: Yes. In the Configure e-Mail menu of
SpoolFlex
there are both failed and sent e-mail logs. Only the Failed
e-mail logs are enabled by default, but the sent logs can be
easily turned on in the Configure e-Mail menu.
Q: Is it possible to send an HTML formatted e-mail from
SpoolFlex?
A: Yes. You can use SFAEML or SFACPYEML commands with
MSGFMT parm set to *HTML.
